- Answer Seems to be that BestBuy is now changing the deal that was advertised. Was supposed to get a FREE additional camera with a purchase of the 2 camera system. I see no mention of it anymore. Kinda BS to me. Been watching, waiting to PreOrder.

- Answer Probably the same way Amazon does. They let some regular people have a chance to try the product a little early and review it. They do that for movies and restaurants all the time to see if any tweaks need to be made before opening things up wide scale.

QuestionDoes this camera system require an internet connection? I have an off-grid house with wifi but no internet so am not able to use the Arlo cameras. Those require an internet connection as the only way to access the video is through the internet portal.

- Answer not sure about whether it will connect to base station without internet or not, but for sure you need the internet to view videos on base station as you can only view them via the mobile app.

QuestionDo the eufycam E cameras work with original home base? Also I have a large home. Can more than 1 home base be used in the same home? Will they interfere with each other? Lastly, how many cameras can stream at once? is it easy to switch between if not?

- Answer Eufy cam E works with original base but not the eufy cam 2 you’ll need to have the newer base model The eufy cam E is also compatible with the newer base. You can have up to 16 cams And add has many base you want Use the cameras with the closer base to have a better reception. You even can extend your Wi-Fi connect wirelessly one base to the other or run a separate cat 5 to each base. Add each base to your account et voilà ! Very simple very reliable you can have a base in your salon in basement upstairs anywhere in Florida in Canada And super easy to see all cams in the same app and setup each cam separately the way you want them. Awesome system, I replaced my arlo with this system Very happy.

- Answer The HomeBase 2 will support USB drive storage in the future for more storage extension. Currently, the HomeBase 2 comes with a non-removable 16GB local storage. It can store 2 months’ worth of videos for a system with 1 camera, or 1 month for a system with 2 cameras (30 motion detections a day and 60 seconds recording each time). QuestionIf the batteries are not replaceable and obviously have only a limited amount of life and ability to be recharged, won't this system be useless after that and of no use any longer?

- Answer Those batteries will practically outlast the camera Lithium ion batt are good to recharge hundreds and hundreds of time You'll need to charge these batteries about 2 to 4 to 6 times a year depends on the activities you get on them So that being said I wouldn't worry about the battery life......

QuestionI am thinking about putting a Eufy Home base 2 in my garage (Indiana) temperature is -10F to 100F. Will this be a problem? I understand I may have issues with the cameras at that temperature but I am not sure about the Home Base.
