- Answer Yes, you can turn off the camera or you can set a “sleep” mode for a period of time. If the later is chosen then the camera will still record but won’t send push notifications.

- Answer Thanks for your question. Sorry, the Homebase memory file can't be retrieved. If the recorded video capacity exceeds 16GB, the old video will be overwritten. - Answer No wire attached to the camera. It connects to your wifi wirelessly much like your normal wireless internet connection. It days the battery lasts a year... We've had our Eufy camera for at least 2 weeks and the battery is still good so far.

- Answer There are no hidden fees and no cloud account that you have to worry about getting hacked. Your storage is in the base unit so you have control. I believe it will only run separate from Ring.

- Answer The quality of the video would be better if the light comes on. Just do not install the camera next to your flood light, keep a little distance. And do not install the camera directly opposite the flood light to avoid that you can only see light in the video recorded.

- Answer Our original "Home Base" supports facial recognition. You can add either Eufy cameras (EufyCam, EufyCam E, EufyCam 2 or EufyCam 2C) on Home Base. Then your camera will support facial recognition function.

QuestionCan you buy the Homebase 2 separately + one camera? Based on reviews, appears range is lacking, and really only need camera for back patio. Waste of $ to have to buy 2 cameras when limited range of Homebase 2 will prevent me from using both.

- Answer 2 questions here.... [1] you can not buy the base station separately. You can only buy the camera separately. [2] I believe you can use the Home base 2 base station as a sort of repeater for your cameras to extend the distance... Hope that helps

- Answer According to the manufacturer, the AC adapter for the homebase supports 100V to 240V. If I see that the label indicates differently, I will edit this response.

- Answer If you use custom clip setting, 120 seconds is the longest. The Optimal Battery life mode only does <20 second clips. The Optimal Surveillance mode does up to <60 second clips

- Answer You won't be able to live stream for that amount of time. These are motion based cameras (like most of the leading home security cameras Ring/Arlo/Blink). Nest records 24/7 but needs an expensive cloud plan in order to do so.

QuestionWould this system work in the uk? What is the difference between this System and the eufyCam 1? I can’t seems to find any other eufy bullet style camera on there website so I am a little confused.

- Answer From something I saw on their forum. There are 4-5 differences. 1) Supposed to support Apples Homekit, but as I understand it, it's not available yet but should be in near future. Anyway I'm not an Apple fan so no worries for me. 2) Improved night vision with advanced Sony sensor, so maybe night IR vision is improved. 3) Smart image enhancement for easier human identification, looks like they may of improved the AI 4) Repeater mode for increased signal range, any increase in range is always welcome. 5) 1080p live-streaming and recording, since the other camera had 1080P, not sure if this means during live streaming it can also record or what exactly. Not clear.
