- Answer It's hardwired for power, but it connects to your WIFI. I just installed it where my backyard light was. Took down the light and exchanged it with the camera. It was very easy and worked right away.

QuestionThe description says the camera is wired,I understand the light it’s self may be hardwired into household voltage, but how does the camera transmit the video?Thru WiFi?POE?BNC? Must the camera be linked and paired with the eufy App to see video remotely?

- Answer Through WIFI. As far as video remotely, I have only watched it through the Eufy APP, I'm sure you can have your own setup since its going through your WIFI.

- Answer You connect with the camera through the Eufy security app and you can access the camera anywhere by Wi-Fi or data through your cell phone. The camera does not have a specific IP address unless you assign it on your network. You do not have to do that on set up. It automatically searches for an available IP address on your network. What specific changes to your network are you referring to. It depends.

- Answer It doesn't connect to the homebase like the other cameras. It is a standalone device and has its own independent storage. It needs to be hardwired; however, it can be connected to the app so you’ll be able to see it with your other cameras in the app.

- Answer It uses the 2.4Ghz band WI-FI. It is easy to connect to your home router as long as it has a 2.4Ghz band available. I would follow the installation instructions & power it up via a USB cable to a power source & then join your home WIFI before taking out to be installed.

- Answer If you have the total tech, they will install it for free... You have to pay for it each year but it offers free shipping on anything and it offers free installation on anything you buy. I was skeptical at first but now I consider it a bargain... because instead of adding a protection plan on each device separately I just pay 200 a year for it and every device comes with one... this has more than paid for itself when I got a laptop for my child, my wife and then myself and each plan was over a hundred dollars and then when I went Christmas shopping everything I got even for others was automatically covered by a two-year protection plan on it, I can say it personally saved me well over a thousand dollars in protection plans not to mention now when I order something from BestBuy online it is free delivery, setup, and installation, no matter how big it is. Also, the return policy is different, normally it is 14 days but with total tech, it is 60 days. I am not trying to sell you on total tech because if you don't really shop at BestBuy, I wouldn't recommend it but if you are an avid shopper like myself then I would

- Answer It can't. it will choose one and go with that one. I tried this with my wife and it would be fine until we went outside its field of view then it will choose one of you to follow... Which one it chooses I can't tell you how it picks because it would randomly choose us... Now its field of vision is large, it can see a good 50 ft from side to side and much more up and down. But it is possible to walk outside the field of view, that is when it can have issues if two subjects walk in two different directions... now the good thing is the subjects have no clue which one it is tracking... you can't see the lenses camera because it is behind a dark bubble so it is a gamble to know if you're the target
