• A:Answer No, this is for a desktop upgrade. The best thing you can do to upgrade laptop performance is swap your mechanical hard drive for a SSD. The Samsung 860 evo does a great job of cloning your existing hard drive and then once you install it in it's place you can see speed upgrade in the neighborhood of 30x

• A:Answer No, This is an add-in graphics card for a tower or small form factor pc. I'm unaware of any internal upgrades to the graphics capabilities of a notebook or laptop. Looking at the hp website, that product comes with two options, a built in discrete Graphics card of "AMD Radeon HD 7570M, with 1GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory" or the Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. The AMD version can't be upgraded but is better than the Intel HD 4000. The Intel HD 4000 can benefit from upgrading the amount of RAM memory in the laptop as it shares that with the system. Having at least 8 gigs of RAM memory would help the system and Intel graphics run to their best capabilities. The Geek Squad should be able to assist with a RAM memory upgrade. Your biggest performance boost however would come from upgrading the original Hard drive storage to a new SSD. Best Buy features the Samsung 860 evo SSD that will likely increase the speed by 30 times. I upgraded my son's laptop which had older components than yours and it feels like a brand new current laptop to him now. Good luck

• A:Answer I have used this card in mid size cases only. It is a very long card. Try making a cardboard mock up to see if it will fit without reaching the front of your case. I have used the PNY 610, 710, and 730 cards in slimline cases, they are shorter cards, if that helps.

• A:Answer From the pictures I'm seeing online of the 530, you should be good to go. There is plenty of room around the pci-e slot and the card doesn't require external power from the power supply. It should work quite nicely for you. You might want to also consider bumping your RAM up to 8gb and look at a Samsung 860 evo SSD to really increase performance.

• A:Answer This card comes with 2GB of dedicated video memory. As far as your PC question, I cannot even find that online to see if it is a tower or not. If it is a small formfactor desktop, this card will not fit.

• A:Answer Power supply does matter. If you have a ps lower than 300 watts it won’t work. Remove the side plate of your tower and look at the label of your current ps and it will tell you how many watts it is.
