A:AnswerThis power supply unit has standard size so it should fit in Inspiron desktop case. I replaced old 400 watts power supply unit inside custom desktop case with no issues using the cables that came with the new unit.
A:AnswerThis is the Compliance specifications:
Compliance with ErP Lot 6 2013 Requirement, TUV, CB, CE, FCC, RCM, cTUVus, BSMI, CCC, WEEE, RoHS
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI don't think so, most Dell computers have proprietary parts that can't be replaced by generic parts and Power Supply units tend to be those parts.
Also verify if the shape and cables are the same diameters and combination.
I won't recommend buying it for your Optiplex, better get the OEM one.
Hope that helps!

A:AnswerAs with any power supply, that will depend on the size of the case and the available space for the power supply. If you can open the case and measure the power supply you have installed, you can then check those measurements against the power supply you are looking to buy. If opening the case is not an option, HP should have some specifications for you desktop on their website.
A:AnswerSeriously speaking, you don't. (Like most stores with websites in addition to their brick&mortar stores, the reliability of BB's online inventory counts at their stores is terrible.) So pick up the phone and call them. And be sure to ask how many they see when they look it up and if they don't have a LOT of them, ask them to physically verify that they have it. If their inventory system shows only a few, there's a good chance there won't actually be any on the shelf, since things like returned products and flawed merchandise often remain "in inventory" even when those products aren't really available for sale..
