• It has an exercise section where you can set what type of exercise you are going to do. It has a the options of run, bike, weights, treadmill, elliptical and workout. It does a pretty good job at getting the distance you go and calories you burn for each workout.

• Yes, if you connect tot your cell phone it will gage distance and show in the map. Also gages time and calories.
