A:AnswerThe device that reads your heart rate has metal and the clasp that closes the watch to your wrist. That's it. I have weird shaped wrist and it feels like a normal watch to me.
A:AnswerThe HR band isn't interchangeable, which is unfortunate because the constant issues with the band is why I got rid of my HR. I know the Fitbit Alta band can be changed.
A:AnswerManufacturer warranty only lasts for so long. I always purchase extra warranty for those just in case moments.Best Buy warranty will replace the item if anything happens to it! Love that!! They have gotten a lot better with their warranties. They use to pick things apart to not have to cover. So much better now.
A:AnswerCertain models made in popular colors will cycle in and out of stock being Fitbits are very popular, so the best thing to do is check back often and purchase the specific color you want when available.
A:AnswerNot sure about the "blink" you are talking about but I'll go over some of the reasons why mine blinks:
1. Needs to be charged (shows a battery on display)
2. The back blinks green when it's trying to read you're heart rate
3. You have the "flick" feature on (not sure exactly what it's called but if you flick your wrist it will show you the time)
4. You reached your daily goal (it is also accompanied with a vibration though)
Hopefully this is helpful if you haven't already gotten your answer :)
