I don't know all the things it is made of. you may want to chat with Fitbit about that. the part that is close to the skin feels like rubber. But it may be a combination of things. The Fitbit itself has a glass looking screen, and a hard plastic like substance but it is harder and I don't what it is. The clip feels like metal with a outer coating of a rubber like substance. I don't know what it is. Sorry I don't see what that is either.

A:AnswerYou do not have to purchase anything. It should have come with a USB dongle for recharging as well as as a small USB wireless sync dongle. You will need to create an account on FitBit. I believe you will need to download the software or the app to associate your device with your account
