“Are these waterproof?”

• Companies don’t refer to the capability as waterproof as that comes with a whole bunch of legal technicalities. The watch is water resistant to 50 feet - you can swim wearing it and it will track your laps.

• It is water resistant to 50 feet so yes you can swim wearing it (it tracks laps), shower in it and not panic if you are caught in a thunder storm :).

• No it is not. If you shower with it be sure not to press any buttons or get soap on it as it may get in the watch. I swam with my watch in a kiddie pool and it stopped working within 30 minutes. Words mean nothing though, here’s a picture. However, Fitbit replaces it for free. And their customer service is great.
