• A:Answer this SIM from Freedompop runs on AT&T network. It has its own 1 year plan and cannot be used on any other *plan*. If you meant TMO phone, you need the phone to be unlocked to this SIM.

• A:Answer No, you don't need a credit card to activate the prepaid plan. I have 5 plans without having registered a credit card on most of them. That said: 1. They will offer promotions (such as a one time bonus of 500MB of free data) to encourage you to register a valid credit card on your account via their web site. 2. Once you've registered a valid credit card, the web site does not allow you to remove it or replace it with another card, unless the other card is also valid. 3. Once FPop has your credit card information, you are at risk of them using it.

• A:Answer No, you can't use it for some land line numbers, some out of state cell phones. Sometimes it works, and sometimes the call will not go through- depends on the number. And this is in the US! I would never trust it for foreign calls, even though I never tried it. I have people to call overseas, but I wouldn't use this.
