• A:Answer I didn't. I usually never do as the products usually have issues fairly early on in my experience (which would then be cover by the original warranty) and therefore many products will simply outlast the extended warranty period. However, another way to look at it is that you are simply buying piece of mind and for some folks it's well worth it.

• A:Answer I do not have a problem with leaking; however like all refrigerators check the tray at the back of the refrigerator near the bottom; since they are frost resistant, the condensation goes here, you can just pull out the tray and empty any water that might have collected there. With my old refrigerator I cleaned it out every 6 to 8 months, the water usually dries up due to condensation, but I kept it clean.

Q: Questionwhat is the best way to remove the residue from the mfr stickerThe delivery guys removed the sticker from the front of the door but there is still some sort of a shadow or "stain" or something that doesnt look right? Does anyone know or have the same issue and do you know the best way to clean this without making it worse?

• A:Answer It does have a secondary thermostat to adjust the freezer separately from the fridge. I have mine in a cold garage and keep the freezer thermostat set to the coldest setting, and so far everything is staying frozen solid. The Best Buy sales rep told me that for 2015 Frigidaire included that garage kit pre-installed with all models. I could not verify that anywhere else, but I did read elsewhere that the unit now has two thermostats, which I can verify and confirm that cold garage functionality is great so far.

Q: QuestionIf using in a garage w no ice maker, does it need to be hooked up to water to work?I need this for extra perishable storage w extended use by dates from big box stores. If I don't need an ice maker in it, I need to be sure it doesn't need a water hookup for normal function of refrigerator/freezer as water is not easily available in garage.

Q: QuestionHow do you adjust and level the FFTR1821QS model. The instructions provided in the manual don't match. Also, there is always water leaking inside the fridge at the back. There is constantly a pool of water at the bottom of my fridge. Why? Thank you

Q: QuestionI just received this refrigerator yesterday. The motor is quite loud, and can easily be heard across the room. Is this expected? Also, should there be a cover on the hinge on top of the fridge? Thanks!

• A:Answer Hey Jane, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, your refrigerator should have come with a hinge cover (part 240354404). Regarding the sounds you are noticing, the compressor operates at a higher pressure when first starting and the noise should disappear as the refrigerator continues to run and balance pressures. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. Hope this helps! -Jennifer
