A:AnswerI think the surging noise you hear is the unit running the a/c pump. Seems like it runs the fan all the time and a/c pump only as needed. I've had mine a couple weeks and I dont notice any clicking but occasionally I have heard the surging noise. I'm happy I bought mine still
A:AnswerI had the same problem at first it was a pain but I got mine to snap in the hole with a bit of elbow grease lol try to fit one side in first then the opposite. Also I'm using tape to hold the window kit panels in place since I didnt want to use screws, works fine so far
