QuestionDo I need to vent this out a window or is there a way the hose can be put in a sink? Reason being I live in a Townhouse and the don't allow anything to hang out the window. Thank you

- Answer I see no reason why you couldn’t put the hose in a sink. I would read any warnings or precautions before doing so.

- Answer Yes! The panel simply rotated vertically. Allowing you to slide the window left/right and pinning the vertical panel in place.

Questionthe manual is vague about water condensation emptying. if we have on cool in a 50% humidity world, how often would we need to drain the tank? my last unit a Penguin had a nice little plastic bucket incorporated into the unit we could manually drain.

- Answer Hey, badornato! The model you selected can also be manually drained or have a drain hose installed to drain continuously at a nearby sink/pump. Depending on if the humidity is reached everyday at that level, it may require draining every other day. QuestionWe have had this unit for over a year. Worked fine last year. Two days ago it has decided to start needing to be drained. Any thoughts as to why? Yes it is in cool mode, not dry mode.

- Answer From my understanding you were supposed to always have top drip station open to use for drip pans it must be more humid than your last year.

QuestionI bought this unit for our master bedroom on Monday. Both Tuesday morning and Wednesday (today) morning I noticed it making a clicking and some sort of surging noise. This can’t be normal, right?

- Answer I think the surging noise you hear is the unit running the a/c pump. Seems like it runs the fan all the time and a/c pump only as needed. I've had mine a couple weeks and I dont notice any clicking but occasionally I have heard the surging noise. I'm happy I bought mine still

- Answer I had the same problem at first it was a pain but I got mine to snap in the hole with a bit of elbow grease lol try to fit one side in first then the opposite. Also I'm using tape to hold the window kit panels in place since I didnt want to use screws, works fine so far
