QuestionHello, I have this air conditioner installed, works great ! I have a cat with asthma and would like to know if the air filter in this unit cleans incoming air of outdoor pollens etc, or does the conditioner draw them in making asthma worse ? Thank you .

- Answer Hello, Summer. Great question! Our antibacterial filter reduces bacteria, room odors and other airborne particles for a healthier, more comfortable environment. Meaning the allergens and bacteria are being filtered out of the air as the air conditioner cools the air in the home. Hope this helps! -Alexis

QuestionWhere is the drain hole on this unit and what is the part number for the drain part and hose to attach to it . I see water gurgling on the casing back about an inch from the bottom by the vents, is this normal ? Thank you .

- Answer Hi Summer! Thank you for your inquiry. The water from your air conditioner actually evaporates. If there is excessive moisture or it is very humid, your air conditioner may possibly drain from the bottom or rear. Also, it is normal to see a little water. It is the condensation from the moisture removed from the air; which is recirculated back on to the condenser coils to prevent the air conditioner from over heating. We hope this helps! –Thanks!-

QuestionI am interested in this unit but my window is only 20" wide. Will it fit with the side panels on?

- Answer Hi Kris! I was able to see that the minimum window width is 23 inches and the maximum window width is 36 inches. If your window is 20 inches window, it may not fit properly. -CiCi

QuestionThis model pops up when I use "Integrated Dehumidifer" as a Search parameter, but the list of features doesn't mention a "DRY" function. does this have a separate dehumidifying function?

- Answer Basically it is quiet. When it first starts up, there is a bit of a droning noise but it eases up with time. I bought this for my mom. If she is happy with it then it must be ok.

- Answer I did not measure but it seemed only 4 inches were inside so about 11" would be out the window.
