“The height of this unit is 12.8 inches however in the specs it says that a minimum height in the window of 14.5 inches is needed. My window opening height is 13.5 inches.”

• Hi Chet! Thank you for your inquiry. The recommended with window dimensions are listed as follows: Height (Min.) 13-1/4" and Width (Min. / Max.) 24" / 36". The recommended window dimensions would be different from the dimensions of the air conditioner, because the adjustable sides have to be factored in. We hope this helps! -Thanks!-
