• A:Answer The installation directions are a bit vague, but once you get the electrical plug connections made, it was pretty simple. The connection for the water line is a standard water line screw in connector. If there has been any ice maker in the house before, it should be fine. Mine was from an older refrigerator of a different brand, and there were no problems.
