Hi there, valued customer! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your inquiry. A minimum clearance of 30" (762 mm) is required between the top of the cooking surface and the bottom of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet. A clearance of 24" (610 mm) is acceptable if the cabinet's bottom is shielded by at least 1/4" (6 mm) flame retardant millboard along with no less than No. 28 MSG sheet steel, 0.015" (0.4 mm) stainless steel, 0.024" (0.6 mm) aluminum, or 0.020" (0.5 mm) copper. The rear of the range must have a clearance of 0" (0 mm). Adhere to all provided dimension requirements to avoid property damage, fire hazards, and incorrect cuts in countertops and cabinets. - Jessica
