It will be fine - mine lives in car in the sun all the time - its not garaged. No trouble even when the outside temp was over 100 and the interior was way hotter than that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Garmin Dash Cam 20 can withstand the temperature range of -4° to 131°F (-20° to 55°C). I recommend removing it from the vehicle if it's going to be stored for any significant period of time. ~JH
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Heat will toast anything in the far and shorten the life, I take mine down and put in glove box on summer days.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I leave mine in my dark blue truck all the time. Temps get over 100 degrees here very often in the summer. I never had a garmin gps die on me. But you need to do what you feel comfortable with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had it one summer in a dark blue truck with no problems (except the rubber suction cup will let loose--I take it down when I park it and put it out of sight.) I had a cheapie dash cam I bought on ebay and ONE DAY in the heat in the truck and it was toast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may fall off the mount when it gets really hot.
