• Yes it uses the standard garmin ball mount.

• Unfortunately no. The mount for the dash cam is only for that device and can't be switched out. Its that circular ball type mount. I looked up the VIRB and could tell right away it wouldn't work. Hope this helps! Cheers!

• This product comes with its own suction cup vehicle mount in the box.
