Night vision would be awesome, right? Unfortunately, the Garmin Dash Cam 20 does not have a night vision mode. However, it does record in full HD 1080P--so you should be able to see the road ahead of you as long as your headlights are on. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have just viewed a video that I took with it at night. I would not say that it has night vision. The only areas that are clear are areas illuminated by the headlights and any street lights. On a dark road with no street lights and no other cars, pretty much the only useful area that is visualized and recorded is the area illuminated by the headlights.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. It goes in a sleep mode during the day after about 4 mins and u can't see anything on the screen. But at night u can see everything on the screen. Ps while in a sleep mode in the day it is still recording as long as the red light is on,
