• Yes..... it records over the earliest recording. You can always protect any recording and it will not erase then. Each segment is 4 minutes long but there is no gaps in the time

• Yes, it records in a continuous loop. It overwrites all files except those that have been automatically or manually saved. The automatic save is triggered by a G-sensor. When tripped, it saves the current, previous, and next segment (about 4 minutes each).

• If you set it to, it does. If you set it to NOT loop, then it tells you the disk is full.
