“the date/time of this dash cam recorder i understand the date/time need to adjust manually the first time when plug into the power source. But after turn off the car's ignition and the recorder will turn off as well. that means there will be no power connected. How to keep the date/time running without any power source. As i have bad experience with other brand dash cam recorder, everytime when start up the car and turn off the ignition, the date/time of the recorder will be back to the original setting and have to adjust it again and again. How about this one?? how to charge the recorder beside using the cigarette lighter adapter. Will the date/time keep running if there is no power source connected. Or i have to adjust the date/time every time when i turn on the recorder??????? Pls clarify as this is one of my major question before decide to buy this product”

The dash cam has an internal battery

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This unit, so far, keeps the time and date even while the power is off. This unit does have a small battery in it so that could help. I'll have to keep an eye on that feature for sure.
