“Can I wire this dash cam to record even when car engine is off?”

• Yes you can. The camera shuts down when power is disconnected format it, hard wire to car to keep all features while in normal operation. I found mine on Amazon.com for $12 and it about 12ft long.

• Sure. But if you are asking the question, you will need help. Don't just wire it directly to the battery, this might damage the camera. A car stereo installer can help you.

• Yes - it uses std lighter / power socket. Find one that's always on or buy female socket and use leads to hard wire to non switched circuit - easy.

• If your cigarette lighter power is constant power than yes. Otherwise you will need to wire directly to the fuse box or the battery itself. Mine goes off when I turn the car off
