- Answer No, this model doesn’t include any truck specific routing. The Garmin dēzl™ series includes detailed maps for North America that also include truck-related restrictions – like bridge heights, sharp curves, weight limits and more – and related information for most major roads and highways.

QuestionMOST USER UNFRIENDLY GPS I HAVE EVER USED. HOW DO YOU GET TO CANADA TO ENTER ADDRESSES? i HAVE TRIED BUT EVERY TIME I ENTER A PROVIDENCE IT GIVES ME ERRORS. I AM DOING THIS THRU TRIP PLANNER, CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO BY JUST ENTERING ADDRESS.

- Answer If i recall correctly they sell a US only edition, and a separate US+CAN edition. You should confirm you have the US+CAN edition.

QuestionDoes this GPS tell you when it is recalculating a route when you take a wrong turn? Does it try to get you back to the original route or does it just reroute?

- Answer Yes, this device will recalculate the route when a turn is missed or if you choose to stray from the intended route. The device will display "Recalculating" at the top of the screen. Thanks, James

- Answer Yes. This tells me audibly when turns are about to come up and that I should turn right, left or continue straight (e.g. at Y's in the road). We really like this unit. We had the prior model that we purchased several years ago and this one is far better. One the prior one I had to press very hard on the screen when typing in destinations or making selections; on this model it is much easier and more like one would expect from a touch screen.

QuestionMy Garmin comes up that I need to update the Maps. The Garmin is not showing any maps. I called the tech support and they tell me that I have to purchase the drivers for $60.00. I have only had this devise for 1 year and used it twice how can it cost mor
