A:AnswerNo, this model is for automobiles and doesn’t include any truck specific information. The Garmin dēzl™ series includes detailed maps for North America that also include truck-related restrictions – like bridge heights, sharp curves, weight limits and more – and related information for most major roads and highways.
A:AnswerToo hard to answer that question, If I am driving down the freeway and not exiting, I have had is show my next maneuver is 89 miles. in the city, it changes as soon as I make a turn then changes to the next turn.
A:AnswerI just used in Mississippi and it was over 100 with high humidity and never had any problems. I would not leave attached to window when not using in car. I usually put in glove box when I park, etc.
A:AnswerI used it few times and it does shoving road work or closures and shoving new routes to avoid it. Mine was connected to a smartphone (Bluetooth).
A:AnswerThey also said it wouldn't fit my Toyota Solara. I'm pretty sure it would, but I have a Kenwood smart radio/backup camera in place already. They also said that wouldn't fit either.
Find a good installer.
A:AnswerI can only assume that is a typo, the Garmin - DriveSmart 65 & Traffic - 6.95" GPS with Built-In Bluetooth I purchased is full color with crisp detail
A:AnswerWhen you are actually at the location, you can go into the menu and get the actual GPS location of where you are. Save that GPS location and name it your destination then go there in the future using your Saved locations.
(So far I've found this Garmin to be extremely accurate with any GPS address.)
A:AnswerNo, not at all (as long as you're not trying to put it into your dashboard for some reason like a factory installed GPS).
You just plug it in to a power source in your vehicle (the old cigarette lighter recepticles for us old folks). Then either affix it to the suction arm and use the suction arm to affix it to your window where it doesn't impair your view of the road/surroundings.
(Personally I've always used a weighted stand and I recommend purchasing the weighted stand that has a connection arm permanently attached to the stand (~ $25). My old Garmin would slide off my dashboard when using my old mount upon abrupt acceleration or turning. I haven't had that problem so far with the new mount.)
