- Answer I used the link in the question and I came up to the page, however, nothing states it is no longer available there. Maybe Best buy was out of stock and unsure if they were going to carry it again when you saw it.

QuestionDoes the Garmin Drive Smart 65 have a beep or other tone that warns when you are approaching your designated turn? My current Rand McNally RV gives a final short ding when I am about 25 feet away from the turn.

- Answer I don't know what the Garmin 40 is. This Garmin works fine. I had a Garmin unit years ago when they first came out. Most recently I had a Magellan stolen out of my car, but Best Buy did not have one available. This Garmin has some nice features/upgrades from other GPS's I've owned. Not only shows my speed accurately, but also displays the speed limit for the zone currently passing through; Nice. The other day I had to take a "Lyft" ride and the driver was using the GPS on her cell phone. It did not show enough detail on the lanes available and I had to advise her many times on which lane she should get into for upcoming moves. Sorry I don't know about the basic question you asked.

- Answer Yes, the installed memory card can be used to store additional Garmin City Navigator map regions. Also, as future map updates are released, they may have so much new information that it won’t fit on the device's internal memory, at that point a micro SD card can be used to expand the memory.

Please go to the Garmin website and read all there is about the Garmin DriveSmart™ 65 & Traffic. I've had this for some time now and really like it. I do also have a computer and a smart phone which I do link to it so I have access to all it has to offer but will work just fine without.
