QuestionDoes this GPS have a track back feature? Are you able to create your own routes? Can this GPS be used for other activities i.e.canoeing/kayaking?

- Answer I don’t know what track back is, but if you lose it, there’s a “find my iphone” type feature. Yes you can create your own routes, and although I haven’t tried it for kayaking yet, it would definitely work. That’s a good idea. The bigger screen is great, I upgraded from the 830 to get that.

QuestionWhat does multi-region cycle map actually mean? I travel a lot all over North America and take my bike everywhere so I can ride whenever I get the chance. Is there a limit on what areas I will be able to view ?

- Answer The regional mapping is for the region where you purchased the device. So a device purchases in the US should have the 'Routable Cycle Map of the United States'. Debbie with Garmin

- Answer There are lots of variables, like your location if the GPS has to work harder to track you, auto pause, how many sensors you have connected, ect. I'd say I average around 7-10 hours of ride time with it, not on battery saver.
