The device syncs to your Connect account and not through the device. Please go to support.garmin.com where you'll find helpful FAQ's and video's on the functions of the device. If you still need assistance you can reach out to a product support associate from that link. Debbie with Garmin

Please try again later.Yes, the scale should work with the VivoActive 3, assuming you are using the Garmin Connect App. The scale syncs to Garmin Connect through your wifi and then you can see the results on your phone with Garmin Connect or on the website. If you are using other features in Garmin Connect, it will also update your weight throughout the software. It can even sync to MyFitnessPal if you use that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Index S2 mainly integrates with the Garmin App - Connect. Your weight is then synched onto your watch as part of your User profile. Other than that, all data are sent and tracked via the Connect app.
