A:Answer Hello, and thanks for reaching out to us about your microwave. We hate to hear you're having an issue with the unit not working normally after usage, and know that must be concerning. We strive to provide a better ownership experience than that and would like to assist. If this is happening right after cooking, the microwave may be overheating. This can occur either after several minutes of cooking (more than the average) or if the model doesn't have enough air clearance. We recommend 3 inches of air clearance on each side, 3 inches on the top and 1 inch in the rear. It is also possible one of the vents around the case may be blocked; make sure they are uncovered or reposition the microwave so no vents are blocked. The unit should return to normal functioning in approximately 30 minutes or less if this is the issue. If you continue to have trouble and think service may be necessary, you can reach that department at 1-800-432-2737. We hope this information helps, but are always happy to answer any other questions or concerns. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
