Q: QuestionI currently have a JVM1540LNCS with dimensions of 29 7/8 in x 16 3/4 in x 15 1/4 in. I'm looking for that matches with the vent that circulates and blows out the top panel of the microwave.

• A:Answer Hi kreyes87 - Yes, the mounting bracket is includes with the microwave. The mounting plate is attached to the back of the microwave oven. Remove the two screws holding it to the microwave oven. The plate will be used as the rear wall template and for mounting the microwave oven to the wall. Q: QuestionThe microwave that we have currently is 15" deep(high) Do you think this model will work? The other dimensions are fine. I think this one is 16" high.

This should not be an issue unless you have tile on the wall under the microwave. Model JVM3160RFSS is 15-3/4"H in the front and 16 1/2"H in the rear. • A:Answer Hi Linda - The mounting brackets are not exactly the same. When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. • A:Answer I believe there is a fuse. You have to take off the front of the microwave. make sure you unpause the microwave and discharged the energy from the fuse before trying to touch it. I found information on YouTube

We no longer offer a 36" wide over-the-range model. If you are replacing a 36" over-the-range microwave, many current 30" over-the-range microwaves offer an optional 36" filler kit to allow it to be installed in a 36" cut-out opening. If available, the filler kit will be listed in the product specifications. This model is not compatible with a 36" filler kit. GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft.
