While you may see slight differences in the dimensions between models, all 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. This design is intended to make choosing a replacement microwave easy. - This model, JVM7195DKBB, would be a fantastic choice, and would also provide you with a larger interior capacity than your previous model as well as additional features! When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket and hardware included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. Q: QuestionThe model number of our microwave is JVM7195DKWW so I ordered a filter for it. It would not fit in the front as shown in the manuel. It was way too short. The microwave we have vents out the front. Is there a different filter?

Q: QuestionI have a JVM3670BF model and was looking for a replacement after 13 years. It seems that some models have trim kits that work in 36" space, but not all. What are my best options for a replacement? Thanks!

Q: QuestionI need to replace my over the stove microwave that measures 29.75" wide by 16.25" deep by 17" high. There is NO space on either side of the current microwave. Will this model fit?

• A:Answer Hi Kathy! Thanks for your questions. This unit does have a melt feature. Depending on which variation of the model that you get, the turntable may have slightly different dimensions. Q: QuestionI have a GE JVM3670SF001 microwave manufactured 2003. Worked great until today. I am ASSUMING the magnetron bulb went. My problem is it is 36" wide. What microwave and adapters do you recommend to still fit my 36" opening.

• A:Answer The microwave oven I purchased was a replacement made to fit a 30 inch opening and it came with templates and brackets for mounting. If you look on the GE web site they have filler kits to complete the install for a 30 inch microwave. I hope this will help.

All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model such as yours. • A:Answer I’m not sure what microwave that it is you are replacing. We just stepped up to a nicer GE than our first one. The vent matched up but the support holes had to be re-drilled on the top. We really like this microwave so far. Sorry I’m not more help. Good luck.

Those models are: PVM9215SKSS and PNM9216SKSS. - Models that have a little less cubic feet, but also have LED lighting for their cooktop lights are as follows: PVM9179SKSS and PNM9216SKSS. - We did want to also provide you with the following information about replacing an over the range microwave with another: All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The recommended measurements for installation can be seen on page 7 of the installation instructions here: https://files.bbystatic.com/D8505xASz7TWU7wUCScjfA%3D%3D/873749db-f7cc-47f6-a6e6-85f440aa17e5.pdf The bottom of the cabinet that the microwave will be attached to show be 66" above the floor and 30" above the cooktop. These measurements are minimums. This is no maximum measurement, although keep in mind that the further away from the cooking surface, the less effective the vent fan will be. Keep in touch! - JB
