Hi JV - Thank you for your interest in a GE Beverage Center. To ensure proper operation you would need to provide the following cutout opening: 33 1/"H x 19 1/2W x 23 1/2"D. This unit requires no additional clearances for airflow or ease of installation. The unit will be able draw needed airflow from above and below the unit. We hope this answers your question. Vikki@GEA
