Q: Where would this vent to if I want to install under a cabinet with no air flow?

A: Hi JV - Thank you for your interest in a GE Beverage Center. To ensure proper operation you would need to provide the following cutout opening: 33 1/"H x 19 1/2W x 23 1/2"D. This unit requires no additional clearances for airflow or ease of installation. The unit will be able draw needed airflow from above and below the unit. We hope this answers your question. Q: Is the door see-through or tinted?

A: The door glass is clear.

Q: Is there a lock on it or available for it?

A: No. Would have to drill into your cabinet, place a eye then use a lock from the eye to the door.

Q: Can the door be switched so hinge is on the left side and opens from right to left. So opposite of the picture? Thanks

Excellent Wine Cooler/Beverage Center Combo
Excellent flexibility for storage of wine, bottles, cans. Door is well tinted and pictures of product do not reflect this accurately. Was unable to find anything with tinted glass, anywhere near this price. Huge bonus the marketing folks have overlooked. Contents cannot be seen unless you are 2-3 inches away. Wood shelving is very nice and removable but not adjustable. Many supposed wine coolers in this price range do not store large 1.5 L bottles of wine - buyer beware - this one does everything is says it will and more. Again pictures make this product appear see-through and it is not. Tinted door adds class to any room. Excellent product with excellent features. Looks great with a base cabinet on either side as a built-in unit. We put it in back of our dining room with marble counter-top. Looks great and highly functional. Be sure and enjoy.

Good, but not great
We needed a beverage center of a particular width. For that, this fridge was perfect. However, despite saying stainless in the description, it's really faux stainless. The handle seems really cheap, and the shelves, although wood, seem cheap as well. There's a wine fridge one model up from this for $50 more that seems more substantial, and has the same dimensions. I wanted flat shelves for soda, but I must admit that if I was in the market for a wine fridge, that extra $50 would definitely be worth it.

Looks Great
The directions are somewhat lacking on what to do when you initially plug in the refrigerator but it was an easy process to figure out what to do. The refrigerator was well protected with the packaging. The unit slides easy on wood flooring into place. Have someone help you lift it because it is just a little bit too big and awkward to lift yourself. Fits enough beverages in aluminum cans and glass bottles.
