A:AnswerYour space will need to be slightly modified, as we do not have an exact replacement for PEB7226SF1SS. You will also need a new trim kit. We have models PEB9159SJSS and PEM31SFSS that would be great additions to your kitchen.
A:AnswerI don't think there is a standard weight for microwaves of this size. I get it, you are curious but I don't think you will get a true answer on this.
I would be more curious on the durability. My first GE microwave which is similar in size, shape, and design failed on the 11 year anniversary. 11 years for a microwave is not bad. My expectation is at least 15 but ok. I still replaced it with another GE microwave cause it fits my requirements.
If weight is a determining factor for you, then it is difficult to say. There might be other variables you may have that will help in your decision making.
-Excuse my ramble.
A:AnswerRE: GE JES2051SNSS countertop microwave.
I know nothing about a trim kit nor did i ask about one.
There may be one available, I just don't know. I'm really not interested in one at this time.
A:AnswerThe length and width and depth should be pretty accurate with the new model. Also, If you chat with Best Buy and give them the current model and the new one you are considering they can inform you if the current trim kit will work. That's what they did for me and it worked perfect.
A:AnswerVerify the dimensions of the old microwave and the new model. They have to be within 1/8" to fit your current trim. Personally, I'd get a nicer model with correct trim & be done with it if I could go back in time.
