Hi Alpine - Thanks for your interest in GE! A typical load would be 3 jeans, 3 shirts and 2 pants or a queen size sheet set. We suggest viewing "Loading Examples" on page 15 of the Use and Care Manual at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000230-2.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My GE event list washer tends to shake and then not spin properly if more than four pair of jeans are washed with a few articles of clothing. For example I have four pairs of jeans along with a couple of shirts and underwear. I guess the jeans were throwing the washer off balance so it will continue to try and balance a couple times and they couldn’t balance then it wouldn’t spin. This has become increasingly annoying and now I wish I had just bought a Toploader because I’ve never had these issues with the Toploader.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I feel that it’s good amounts. Yes I can wash more than two pair of jeans .!
