Q: QuestionGNE27JSMSS model temperature controls: If I set it at 37 degrees for the refrigerator, and control panel displays 37 degrees, does the display show the current temperature or what it is set at? In other words does panel show current temperature?

Q: QuestionI just purchased the GE Gloss Black French Door Refrigerator/freezer. There is a noise, occasionally, when it first was plugged in and maybe when the cooling starts, not sure. Is this normal? The ice maker is not hooked up and turned off.

• A:Answer I am so sorry everyone! Turns out the ice maker was on. After turning off the maker, the refrigerator is silent. Keeps temps perfect (refrigerator 37 degrees and freezer at zero, factory settings). I could not be happier with this choice.

Q: QuestionI've had my GE Refrigerator/Freezer Model GNE27JMMPFES 4 years old. Bad evap fan motor. Unplugged old fan and found that pin had broken from the base wiring harness that is embedded in bottom of freezer. Is there a way to fix?
