    • Answer Hello there, While we are unable to provide the information specifically for the dryer, we can provide you the annual estimated energy cost of the entire appliance. When used with an electric water heater, the annual cost is around $23, while using a natural gas water heater, the cost is around $15. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have more questions.     • Answer I use the pods for convenience and storage, but I don’t know why you couldn’t use liquid detergent. I had the pods when I recently moved, but if I had the liquid detergent, I wouldn’t have hesitated to use that.

  • QuestionCan this dryer be installed “ventless” i have a machine now that i am retiring that is ventless…i had purchased a ventless kit. Does this one have that option?

The model does allow for either side or bottom venting. We do have some ventless dryer options, including GFT14ESSMWW, if you’d like to review whether that model may fit your needs.   • QuestionThe washer is working but the dryer isn't working at all, what could cause this?

    • Answer Hello. We appreciate you reaching out, though we hate to hear the dryer isn’t working properly; we know any issue with the appliance would be concerning, and we’re glad to advise. If the dryer isn’t working at all, you may want to check the plug as well as the fuse and/or circuit breaker to ensure enough power is reaching the unit (electric dryers often use two fuses/breakers, so if only one is working that may cause issues). We do have Troubleshooting Tips starting on page 21 of the manual as well; if you’d like to view those, the manual is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. If you aren’t able to resolve the issue, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737, and a technician would be glad to examine the unit.   • QuestionHow many gallons of water is used for a complete wash and rinse
