Q: QuestionIs there a way to remove the agitator to clean it out? It is caked up with old fabric softener and dark chips are coming out during the wash. I've tried flushing it several times and reaching inside to wipe it out, but I can't get to the bottom.

- A:Answer Thanks for checking with us. We recommend checking to see if you have a 3 or 4 prong outlet and purchase the corresponding cord. Electric Models should be connected to a dedicated 240V or 208V 30-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. Power cords sold separately. Joyce@GEAppliances
