Q: QuestionWhere does this thing get vented to? I'm assuming it goes under the cabs to an exterior wall or is this vent like a microwave vent and it does not get vented to the outside.

Q: QuestionGood evening, We have a GE downdraft model ZVB36SH1SS. The motor assembly is no longer available. What's the compatible (in terms of counter cutout dimensions) replacement? I found the UVD6361SPSS and UVB36SKSS?

• A:Answer Hi Akamai22, Thank you for reaching out. To remove: Slip fingers into the vent holes, lift the vent straight up and pull forward. Grasp the filter tabs, push down and out of the retainer. I hope this helps. Best wishes -Mike

Q: QuestionDoes all the ventilation hoses and vents come with it? If so how long is the hose that needs to lead out under the home to the outer vent?

• A:Answer Hi Crickett - The ductwork is sold separately. The downdraft air discharge outlet for this unit is 31⁄4” x 10” rectangular and can be transitioned to 6” round. Troubleshooting could help with your problem. To troubleshoot: The blower control switch may be in the OFF position. Slide it to the right. Also, the vent may not be fully extended. Press the raise/lower pad.
