I had a similar issue. I was told to avoid putting heavier materials with lighter ones. So if you can be sure to divide them well. Keep jeans, blankets and shower towels together. Avoid mixing things like jeans and lighter clothing. I've done this and haven't had issue anymore.

On 1995 and newer top load washers, you must remove the shipping material just before sliding the washer into place. If removed prior to sliding into place using a cart or dolly, the washer may be noisy and vibrate. This model has a cardboard base/cone. See page 19 of the Installation Guide at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Make sure the washer is level. The washer needs to be level and sitting on a good, solid floor. The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Place level on flat top side edges of washer. Adjust all four leveling legs until washer is level left-to-right and front-to-back (See page 22 #7). Load dry items loosely in the washer basket. For best results, load items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads. Choose appropriate water level. The water level will be just under the clothes level. An overloaded machine will become unbalanced and not properly spin. See page 15 of the Use and Care Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - You might try WASHER/DRYER ANTI-VIBRATION PADS WX17X10001CA. Bring peace and quiet to the laundry room with pads that help reduce washer noise and vibrations without scratching floors. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue
