• Not as quiet as some but does get clothes clean to our satisfaction .Samsung quieter but never satisfied with clothes.

• Hi suds- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! Our washers continue to be manufactured with as quiet a performance as possible. The washer features our Auto Balance Suspension System. The washer tub moves freely within our exclusive balance system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations. During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor.
