Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The Auto Soak feature will work with the Normal Cycle. After the Auto Soak period, the water will immediately fill with a little more water and move into the agitation portion of the cycle. If it is not moving to the next cycle, make certain the lid is down. Otherwise, we recommend contacting GE Factory Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance. I hope this helps!
