A:Answer The limited manufacturer’s warranty lasts for a year from the purchase date, and would apply to any part of the washer that fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship. During the warranty, labor and related service to replace a defective part will be free of charge, as long as the issue falls under the warranty coverage. There is also a ten year warranty for the motor specifically, if it fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship. During that additional limited warranty, the consumer would be responsible for labor or service related costs.
