A:AnswerMaybe, you are trying to open the lid too soon. I put my clothes in start the washer wait a few seconds for the water flow to kick in then I open the lid. If you open it too soon the water flow will stop or it may not even start.
A:AnswerFrom the FRONT of the washer to the BACK of the washer is 27".
From SIDE to SIDE the washer is 27".
The HEIGHT of the washer with the lid closed, is 44".
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerHi SSSS - The Speed Wash cycle is approximately 23 minutes. Utilizes an expedited wash period and time saving continuous spray rinse to clean small lightly soiled
loads in the fastest time possible. Normal/Colors cycle is approximately 40-42 minutes (These are cycle times without options such as Extra Spin, 2nd Rinse, etc.). Pair with GE® 7.2 cu. ft. Capacity aluminized alloy drum Electric Dryer GTD42EASJWW (Gas GTD42GASJWW). Thanks for considering GE! Keep in touch - Sue

A:AnswerThe fabric softener dispenser is not well designed. The fabric softener splashes out on clothes and stains them. When the wash has completed the cycle, fabric softener is in the washer and on clean clothes. I have to rinse then again and hope it comes out of the clothes without staining. Do not like it. Should have returned washer. Fabric softener dispenser should be redesigned.
A:AnswerHi - Maximum setting fills up same amount as Deep Fill option for wash which is approximately 26 gallons. The actual amount of water used in an average wash fill for the GTW465 is approximately 18 gallons. Thanks for your interest! Sue
