“I just purchased the GE 4.6 model 10 days ago. I'm having a problem with the fabric softener dispenser. It won't dispense the fabric softener. I used normal setting twice and white setting once. I set the deep rinse cycle and it did not dispense.”

Hi Donna- We are sorry to hear the fabric softener is not dispensing. It should if the Deep Rinse cycle is selected and is added to the left side of the dispenser drawer as shown on page 15 of the Owner's Manual for this model: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90586.PDF - Do not overfill or dilute softener/conditioner as this can result in additive being dispensed prematurely in the wash cycle. Fabric softener crystals should not be added to the dispenser drawer, as they will not dispense properly. A qualified service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis.
