Q: QuestionThe digital display shows oven temperature when the oven is turned on. When I set the timer, the display continues to show the oven temperature, not the timer countdown. Can this be changed? It makes the timer nearly useless!

• A:Answer On mine, if I hit “cook time” and then hit the timer on/off button it will show the time remaining instead of the temp. Hope this works for you!

Q: QuestionSince this model is not a true convection oven, what is the difference in the oven between this model and the model JB655. Why is this model advertised as an air fryer and JB655 is not? What makes this model an air fryer?

• A:Answer Hello. The model JB735SPSS does the convection cooking with the use of a fan in the rear to circulate the hot air around the food for browning more evenly. It does not have a third element around the fan. No Preheat Air Fry is a special cooking mode that is designed to produce foods with a crispier exterior than traditional oven cooking. The Air Fry mode optimizes heating from the Bake, Broil, and Convection Fan elements to achieve the crispy fried food results you want without the need of hot oil. The model JB655 does not have the electronics to do air fry. Hope this helps. Geoff@GEA

• A:Answer Hi there - great question! This particular model is not one of our Fingerprint Resistant ranges. However, we did find a comparable Stainless Steel Freestanding Electric Range that is fingerprint resistant - its model number is PB935YPFS. Otherwise, the stainless steel surface can be cleaned with warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. And keep in mind to always wipe the surface in the direction of the grain. Q: QuestionDoes this GE model with convection and the air fryer have the Schott ceramic top with the white dots? It is difficult to tell from the pictures.
