Q: QuestionDescription mentions a "12 - 9 dual burner" suggesting there is a single dual burner. Looking at photo of stove top it would appear both front burners are dual burners. Which is correct? Also, is it correct to assume the rear center burner is the warmer?

• A:Answer Mark, I assume the question you asked has already been answered. The answer to your question is: 1 - This oven is rated for 40 Amps 2 - The electric oven should be on it's own dedicated double breaker. (It takes up two spaces in your breaker box) This is what you have. 3 - The 6 ft cord is purchased separately 4 - There are two different cords available for purchase. One of the cords is for 3 prong outlets. The other plug is for 4 prong outlets. 5 - Older homes may have 3 prong outlets. 6 - New homes should have 4 prong outlets. Conclusion - You are fine with just purchasing a 40 Amp Range Plug with 3 prongs. You do not need to upgrade the breaker. Since it is a dedicated breaker, the oven is the only "electrical device" that can use this breaker. You can not be limited.

• A:Answer Hello- Thanks so much for checking with us. Your cast iron pans can be used inside the oven, but they shouldn't be used on top the cooktop. If the cookware has a burr or rough spot, it will scratch the glass surface. Additionally, it is slow to absorb heat. Once this type of cookware heats up, especially on high heat, it holds an intense amount of heat which is transferred to the cooktop. This can cause the element to shut down as a response to the temperature limiters which indicate the surface temperature is too high for the cooktop components to handle. We hope this is helpful! Q: QuestionSince oil and water do not mix, I have placed poured water in the air fryer drip pan. The grease stays on top of the water. How does the higher humidity affect cook times and outcomes. Are some foods better or worse using this method?

• A:Answer Hello, If you are adding water to your makeshift drip pan to catch oil, we recommend stopping as that could be very dangerous should something catch fire. If you need to clean it, we would recommend using aluminum foil or parchment paper. As to how this would affect cooking, we would not know as this an untested and unapproved method. This would be counterproductive as air fry is meant to make things crispy and steaming something does the opposite. Hope this helps! Mike@GEA

• A:Answer To heat 4 cups of water from 70° - 200°F on the 9/6" Power Boil burner (left front) will take approximately 6 minutes. A great portion of heating speed and performance depends on the cookware being used. It must be flat-bottomed and sized right for the burner. In this test, we used aluminum cookware.

• A:Answer I think the oven door the light automatically comes on when you open the door and there is no option to keep the light off. I'm disappointed I can't turn my volume up also. It's only an option for "On" and "off". My above the Range GE Microwave is loud so I just use the "Timer" option on the Microwave and I can hear it. Don't have to use the Microwave, just the Timer function. Also, I have Alexa. I tell Alexa to "Set a timer for." and I can hear that real good.
