Q: QuestionGE JGS760SPSS The fan runs during normal/conventional baking. Is this normal?

• A:Answer Yes. There are actually two fans. There is a large conventional fan in the oven back wall used for convection baking. Then there is a small squirrel cage fan at the top back which exhausts through the right hand vent (looking from the front) at the back. This fan appears to be used for keeping the electronics and wiring cooled, and it will operate regardless of the oven convection setting since it's not related to that.

Q: QuestionDoes this oven have a bread proofing setting? What is the lowest temperature to which one can set the oven? Thanks!

As long as the installation instructions for this model are followed with proper clearance and venting, you any non flammable and heat safe wall covering will work. Q: QuestionDoes this range require a 220v outlet to run the convection circulation?

• A:Answer No, the oven only requires 110v from a regular wall outlet. The oven computer controls, burner igniters, fan and oven light are all powered from that one 110v connection. BTW is there is a power outage the stove top burners will still function, you just have to light them manually - but the oven will not function at all because it is completely computer controlled.
