- Answer Hi - Yes, you can. Each oven has it's own set of cooking controls which allows you to operate the ovens independently. You can have the meat roasting in the lower oven while your casseroles are heating in the upper. This really comes in handy for large gatherings of family and friends. QuestionThere is no gas line to my electric oven right now but I do have gas heat in my home. Does the installation include adding a gas line to the stove?

- Answer Hi, Thanks for your interest in our products! A gas line is not included with installation of a new GE range. You will need to contact your installer to see if that is part of the installation since you don't have a gas line where you need it. Hope this helps! This unit does have an LP conversion kit included. The range is set up for natural gas usage when sent from the factory. Adjusting to use propane instead needs to be done by a qualified technician in accordance with local codes and the installation instructions. The GE model has a center grate accessory while the Cafe model has a grill accessory. The cooking system of the Cafe model is true convection while the GE model has convection only on the lower oven. Convection cooking modes use increased air circulation to improve performance. The type of benefit depends on the mode. Your lower oven has the following convection cooking modes: Bake and Roast.
