• A:Answer Yes, though the broil option is only for the lower oven. So far, I am in love with this stove. The two ovens are a blessing. I dropped cheese covered bread through the rack while broiling, it was too difficult to pull out and fully expected a burnt mess but it wiped off easily.

• A:Answer Hello! The oven on your gas range is lit by electric ignition, eliminating the need for a gas standing pilot light. 1990 and newer gas ovens cannot be lit without power supplied to it. • A:Answer Hello - Thanks for your question; we are happy to help! In the event of a power failure, the surface burners may be lit with a match. Using extreme caution, hold a lit match near the ports beneath the surface burner cap, then slowly turn the knob to the LITE position. Once lit, surface burners will continue to operate normally. In the event of a power failure, the ovens are inoperable and no attempt should be made to operate them. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA
