A:AnswerHi Tony - Thanks for considering GE! Model JGBS86SPSS is manufactured in Mexico. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. Visit "Made in America": https://www.geappliances.com/ge/usa/ - We'd love to have you in the family, Tony. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

A:AnswerI just had a gas line and it works beautifully. One oven for me and one oven for my teenager son. There is peace in our house when we want different things for dinner.
A:AnswerHi there! Thanks for your question. The oven heat will come from the bottom but the fan in the back of the lower oven will engage when using Convection Baking. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA
A:AnswerThe previous answer is incorrect. This model has a dark gray cooktop. The Premier model is matte black. This oven will not match other black appliances.
A:AnswerHello, thanks for reaching out to us about the range and its No- preheat Air Fry. We understand how this can be confusing and we apologize. Yes, this model has No-preheat Air Fry. Should you need any further assistance, we are here to help.-Kianna@GEA
A:AnswerThe information about accessing the special features menu is incorrect in the documentation that came with the range and in the owner's manual online and also in the answer given by the GE representative in the previous response. I could not access the special features menu even after spending 30 minutes on the phone with the GE support desk. I set up a repair appointment, but just now someone from GE called me to explain that the correct way to access the menu is to hold down the Bake and Warm keypads on the Lower Oven control pad. That worked for me so the service call was not needed.
A:AnswerHello Convection,
We appreciate you reaching out and are happy to answer your question. This oven uses both traditional and convection baking. In convection baking, the oven uses the fan to circulate heat for more even baking. We hope this information helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
